Job Overview

Job Description

– Monitoring/troubleshooting LAN/WAN connections in GIC and its remote Units

– Propose plan to extend connection/data point when/where needed; make configuration change when/where necessary

– Maintaining, configuring different type of servers, SAN storage, tape library, SQL server

– Manage VMware servers, MS Windows domain, Email system, File/Print servers

– Maintaining backup server, perform daily backup and restore when needed

– Coordinate with IT services suppliers and supervise outsourced IT service activities

– Manage Antivirus software and ensure latest updates are applied on system

– Document ICT system configuration, technical issues & solutions

Job Requirements

– BA/BS in computer science. Certificates MCSA, CCNA, CCNP…
– Very good command of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
– Knowing in Networking
– Experience in configuration and troubleshooting  wide range of network devices from different manufacturer/brand (Cisco, HP, Fortigate, Linksys,…): switches (layer  2, layer 3), routers, fiber connection devices, firewall, wireless access point
– Competence in setup, installation, configuration and troubleshooting servers (IBM, HP, Oracle), SAN storage, SAN switch, tape library
– Competence in managing and administering VMware vSphere, MS Windows domain, MS Exchange Email system, Asterisk, Symantec Backup/Antivirus, MS SQL server
